For Spring Break I went to Chokoloskee island with a buddy of mine to fish. Here are some pictures and a video of a compilation of all the pictures.

Chokoloskee Island is a remote island in the everglades national park. It is "real Florida" just mobile homes, 1 restaurant, a post office, and a bait shop. There is a grocery store in nearby Everglades city, where a few restaurants are found as well. It is quite an experience, and there is a plethora of islands hence the name 10,000 islands.

We camped at the Chokoloskee Island Park, it was full of friendly people. The park has a boat ramp, a dock (that you can fish off of) that can accommodate a boat with a beam of 7ft or less and under 23ft. They have live bait as well as tackle.

It is a remote area where you will usually wont see another boat the whole time your out. We did not take the kayaks down as the weather was not supposed to be the greatest as wind forcast was 20 knots but of course it was 0 knots and beautiful. Enjoy the pictures
